Improvements in Android Connectivity

Posted in Developer news

Movesense sensor firmware 1.7.1 and Movesense Device Service mobile library 1.28.1 bring major improvements to the connectivity between Movesense sensor and Android phones. If you are working on an Android application as part of your solution, we warmly recommend to start using the latest libraries right away. It will save you from a lot of trouble shooting.

The main improvements include

– Better connection with Samsung S-series phones that used to be an issue before. (Sensor firmware)
– Multi-connection: improved stability when connecting several sensors at the same time with one phone. (MDS library)
– More stable connection when transferring large amounts of data, e.g. when sending data from sensor memory to phone. (MDS library)
